Approve Overdrafts

How to Approve Overdrafts

To approve overdrafts you go to Savings -> Overdrafts -> Approve Overdrafts and a screen will appear as follows:

From the list of displayed overdrafts holders, click on the one that you want to approve, e.g. for "James Dalton"

Select the Approved radio button if you are going to approve the overdraft.

• Date of Approval/Rejection/Deferral: Enter the date when the overdrafts facility should become operational, e.g., "21/02/2013".
• Comment: Enter the comment as a basis as to why you are approving the overdraft, e.g., "Client has a good cash flow record".
• Search on name: Enter the name of the client that you want to approve the overdraft for. The name will automatically be highlighted on the overdrafts list.

Click on the Save command button to effect the overdraft approval. The overdraft will be removed from the approval list and will remain in your database.

You can view the report on the approved overdrafts at Approved-Rejected Overdrafts.

Click on the Close command button to exit.
